Cow manure compost‐based products as alternative rhizobial carrier materials

چکیده

Cow manure compost (CMC) has been used widely as soil amendment to improve fertility and health, minimize environmental impacts. However, direct use of commercial CMC-based products alternative rhizobial carrier materials is rare, it could promote inoculant commercialization. This research aimed explore the potential four (CMC powder, CMC granular, + 50% gypsum, 30% biochar) a carrier. Peat was standard (control) material. All carriers were directly mixed with Bradyrhizobium japonicum CB 1809 strain prepare inoculants. Shelf life inoculants evaluated up 120 days storage survival rate in determined after 30 under both optimum moisture (55% WHC—water-holding capacity) drought stress (15% WHC) conditions. Results revealed that overall, gypsum product showed better physicochemical characteristics such WHC (126.9 ± 6.87%), Ca (134.15 5.78 mg kg−1), S (104.9 6.52 kg−1) best shelf during at 28°C 35°C temperatures. The difference between other became more apparent higher temperature (35°C) longer-term (120 days). Additionally, when introduced into soil, outperformed peat (control), showing 95% (under moisture) 87% drought) storage. population biochar lowest values 8.66 Log 10 CFU g−1 7.52 shelf-life test temperatures 35°C, respectively, likely due its alkaline pH. Multivariate analysis carriers' WHC, (involved nodule formation stability), (essential for metabolism nitrogenase activity) contents had strong positive correlation long-term confirming importance materials' retention availability specific elements (Ca, S). Hence, highest S, pH, reflecting density compared carriers. work demonstrated great materials, opening an avenue rapid development

Growth and Reproductive Performance of Eisenia Foetida in Cow Manure, Cow Manure + Sugarcane Bagasse, and Cow Manure + Sawdust Waste

Accumulation of sawdust and sugarcane bagasse can cause serious problems for the environment. In this study, we examined the growth and reproductive performance of Eisenia foetida in cow manure, cow manure + sugarcane bagasse (4:1, V/V) and cow manure + sawdust (4:1, V/V) waste and its effects on CO2 evolution. The results showed that the weight gain for E. foetida (live weight) per gram of dry...

Introducing Fructose Syrup 55% as an Alternative to High Hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) Products Such as Invert Sugar

Hydroxy Methyl Furfural (HMF) is a compound that is formed as a result of heat treatment and long storage of sugar products such as invert sugar and according to codex standards its limit in foods is 40 ppm. Fructose syrup 55% is a transparent liquid with a sweet taste and has no off-flavor and has similar sweetness and functional properties to sucrose. Various studies show that due to the prod...

Milk and dairy products as food materials.

Europe with a long and proud tradition of dairy farming is about 105% selfsufficient in dairy products. This paper has been developed to answer the questions: (I) Should Europe continue to c o n m e a high level of dairy products? (2) Should Europe remain self-sufficient in dairy products? (3) If the answers to I and 2 are ‘yes’, is any change required in Europe’s attitude towards the use of da...

Expression and purification of four different rhizobial acyl carrier proteins.

In rhizobia, besides the constitutive acyl carrier protein (AcpP) involved in the biosynthesis and transfer of common fatty acids, there are at least three specialized acyl carrier proteins (ACPs): (1) the flavonoid-inducible nodulation protein NodF; (2) the RkpF protein, which is required for the biosynthesis of rhizobial capsular polysaccharides; and (3) AcpXL, which transfers 27-hydroxyoctac...
